UNITY in LA - NOV. 06' - PHOTOS

This past Thursday (11.2) was the return of UNITY. A special event, created by Bigga B (rip), that blazed trails for LA's deep-rooted hip hop talent pool and sparked the careers for some of today's most influential West Coast artists, producers and dj's. Ending in the late 1990's and returning in 2006, UNITY is back to reclaim the true essence of what West Coast hip hop is all about.

Thursday brought heavyweights like Alchemist, Ras Kass, Self Scientific, Sick Symphonies, Strong Arm Steady and special appearance by Planet Asia while DJ Muggs, Mark Luv, Rhettmatic and Mr. Choc held down the wheelz of steel.

Big ups to DJ Muggs, Chase Infinite, Angeles Records and SA Studios for bringing back a ground-breaking event that not only defines hip hop, but a movement. SecretEmpire was on hand taking photos for Rime Magazine, who is a sponsor for the event.
